We are hiring at Hula Tsawwassen Mills BC. We pride ourselves on the culinary creations served from our kitchen, and are looking for an experienced and passionate Cook/Cashier to help support our team. We are one of the First Poke restaurants in town and very busy!

The ideal candidate for this position has previous experience in small kitchens, enjoys working in a busy restaurant environment and is capable of taking direction well and multi-tasking effectively. Hours

Mon-Sunday 4-8 hours shifts will be between the hours of 9am-10pm.

Responsibilities

Measure and assemble ingredients for menu items

Collaborate with the store manager and team members to prepare meals during our operation hours.

Maintain accurate food inventories

Properly store food items at appropriate temperatures

Rotate stock items as per established procedures





Restock kitchen for subsequent shifts

Ensure that the food prep area and kitchen are cleaned and sanitized at the end of your shift

Prioritize food bills and attain desired food prep and service times

Skills Required

Able to read and follow standardized recipes

Strong knowledge of proper food handling procedures

Able to work as part of a team in a busy kitchen atmosphere

High Standards for food and cleanliness

Ability to have some fun while you cook in an intense environment
