Job Summary

Duties

- Greet guests warmly and present menus with enthusiasm, providing detailed descriptions of food and beverage options.
- Take accurate orders using POS (Point of Sale) systems such as Micros POS, ensuring all special requests are noted.
- Serve food and beverages promptly while maintaining presentation standards and ensuring guest satisfaction.
- Handle cash transactions accurately, including cashiering duties and cash handling responsibilities.
- Upsell menu items confidently to enhance guest experience and increase sales opportunities.
- Maintain cleanliness and sanitation standards in food handling areas, adhering to food safety regulations.
- Assist in food preparation or kitchen support as needed to ensure timely service during busy periods.
- Manage time effectively to serve multiple tables efficiently without compromising quality or guest attention.




- Collaborate with kitchen staff and fellow servers to ensure smooth operations and exceptional guest experiences.
- Follow all sanitation protocols, including proper food handling and hygiene practices, to ensure safety for guests and staff.

Experience

- Previous food service experience in a restaurant or hospitality setting is highly preferred.
- Familiarity with POS systems such as Micros POS or similar platforms is advantageous.
- Strong customer service skills with the ability to engage guests positively and handle inquiries professionally.
- Knowledge of food safety standards, sanitation procedures, and proper food handling techniques.
- Experience in cashiering, cash handling, or basic math skills for accurate billing and transactions.
- Ability to manage time efficiently in a fast-paced workplace while maintaining attention to detail.
- Kitchen experience or familiarity with food preparation processes is a plus but not required.
