Job Overview

We are seeking a motivated and skilled Framer/Carpenter to join our dynamic construction team. In this role, you will be responsible for constructing, installing, and repairing structures using a variety of materials and tools. Your expertise will help bring building projects to life, ensuring they are safe, durable, and meet all specifications.

This position offers an exciting opportunity to work on diverse projects, from residential restorations to commercial framing, while honing your craftsmanship and technical skills.

Responsibilities

- Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and construction plans to accurately execute project requirements
- Measure, cut, assemble, and install framing components using hand tools and power tools with precision
- Construct and install drywall, siding, concrete forms, and other building materials according to specifications
- Operate heavy equipment such as forklifts or cranes safely to assist with material handling and placement
- Perform concrete finishing tasks including pouring, leveling, and smoothing surfaces for foundations or structures
- Assist with restoration projects by repairing or replacing damaged framing or structural elements




- Follow safety protocols diligently during all phases of construction work to ensure a secure work environment

Skills

- Proficiency in blueprint reading and understanding technical drawings
- Strong knowledge of carpentry techniques, woodworking, and drywall installation
- Experience with concrete forming and finishing processes
- Ability to operate power tools such as saws, drills, sanders, and welding equipment safely
- Familiarity with siding installation and exterior finishing techniques
- Knowledge of schematics for electrical or plumbing components related to framing projects (nice-to-have)
- Physical strength for heavy lifting and working at heights or in confined spaces
- Construction experience across residential or commercial sites is highly desirable
