Business Analyst – AP Analyst (Oil & Gas / Energy)

This is a one-year contract, with the possibility of extension based on business needs and individual performance. A day in the life:

- Coordinate with internal teams and vendors on contract rates and invoice issues.
- Create and maintain service requisitions and purchase orders (POs).
- Review and process vendor invoices for accuracy and contract compliance.
- Prepare and post month-end accruals in SAP.




- Complete SAP Service Entry Sheets (SES) for non-construction activities.
- Review and attest field tickets and non-construction invoices for approvals, scope, quantities, and rates.
- Follow up on missing approvals, documentation, and invoice revisions.
- Resolve invoice discrepancies, billing questions, and payment issues with vendors and internal teams.

You bring:

- 3+ years of relevant experience in a similar role, Accounts Payable (AP) analysis, project controls, or contract administration.
- Strong communication skills with the ability to work effectively with vendors and project management teams.
- SAP experience with a good understanding of transactional and financial processes.
- High-volume transaction processing experience, with strong accuracy and efficiency.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, particularly in investigating and resolving discrepancies.
- Oil & Gas or Energy industry experience is considered an asset.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Excel.
- Strong attention to detail with excellent analytical and critical-thinking skills.
