GALLERY ASSISTANT NEEDED

Kurbatoff Gallery is looking for a gallery assistant with adaptable schedule. We need a people-oriented, well-educated, mature, reliable, trustworthy person with extensive experience in sales. General knowledge of art is required. This position is perfect for someone who works from home or has additional jobs.

Work hours are Fridays and potentially another day, bartending and general help at receptions ( some Saturday afternoons) plus some extra days from time to time.

We will need a person who will be able to manage the gallery for a period of one to two weeks when the owners are away.

The gallery will prefer long-term working relationship.

We pay well per hour plus sales bonuses.

The Gallery Assistant will be expected to:

- Ensure high levels of customer satisfaction through excellent sales service
- Assess customers needs and provide assistance and information on currently available works of art and featured artists




- “Go the extra mile” to drive sales
- Actively seek out customers in the Gallery
- Build productive trust relationships with customers
- Receive and process orders/ sales
- Maintain clean and orderly display
