In this role, you will play a vital part in supporting construction, maintenance, and site operations by performing a variety of manual tasks. Duties

- Assist with loading, unloading, and moving materials and equipment across job sites
- Prepare work areas by cleaning, organizing, and setting up necessary tools and supplies
- Support skilled tradespeople by holding or passing tools, materials, and supplies as needed
- Performs any of the required tasks including palletizing, case making, bagging, lidding, packing, line supply, etc
- Follow safety protocols diligently to maintain a secure work environment for all team members, and ensuring compliance with all safety regulations and procedures
- Perform general site cleanup, waste removal, and debris disposal to keep work areas tidy
- Inspects packaging material to ensure that packaging is correct and undamaged prior to load
- Assist with minor repairs or maintenance tasks under supervision
- Help with inventory management by tracking tools and materials used on-site
- Lifting more than 20 kgs, and standing for prolonged periods of time
- Assist with landscape construction projects from start to finish
- Work in all weather conditions
- Be prepared for and willing to perform additional labour duties as / when required

Qualifications





- Must attend orientation training before being deployed
- Must attend and be enrolled in a financial wellness program before being deployed
- Ability to perform physically demanding tasks including lifting, bending, and standing for extended periods
- Strong work ethic with a positive attitude and willingness to learn new skills
- Excellent teamwork and communication skills to collaborate effectively with team members
- Basic understanding of safety procedures relevant to construction or industrial environments
- Prior experience in manual labour roles is a plus but not required; training will be provided
- Reliable transportation to reach various job sites as needed
- A good attitude. We strongly value our positive work environment and are looking for someone who works well with others.
- Physical ability to perform heavy lifting and work in various outdoor conditions for extended periods
- Willingness to learn new skills and take direction from experienced workers.
- Work a rotational schedule, up to 12 hours a day, for both day or night shifts as required and subject to change depending on project needs.
- Punctual with time
- Comfortable working both independently, or as part of a small team

Pay: $15.00-$30.00 per hour Expected hours: No more than 44.0 per week
