Vedder Valley Homeworks is looking for a reliable and hardworking General Labourer to join our growing team. We specialize in residential renovations, repairs, and home improvement projects throughout the Fraser Valley.

This is a hands-on position with a variety of work from day to day. You will assist with renovations, demolition, site preparation, material handling, basic construction tasks, and jobsite cleanup while working alongside experienced team members.

We are looking for someone who takes pride in their work, shows up on time, works well with others, and is willing to learn. Previous construction experience is an asset, but a positive attitude and strong work ethic are just as important.

Responsibilities

- Assist with residential renovation and construction projects
- Load, unload, move, and organize tools and building materials
- Assist with demolition and removal of existing materials
- Complete basic construction and labour tasks as directed
- Assist with carpentry, drywall, painting, flooring, decks, fencing, and other renovation work
- Prepare jobsites and work areas for upcoming tasks
- Maintain clean, organized, and safe work areas
- Protect customers' homes and property while work is being completed
- Assist with jobsite cleanup and disposal of construction debris
- Safely use basic hand and power tools when trained to do so
- Follow instructions and company safety procedures




- Work professionally and respectfully around customers and other trades

Qualifications
- Reliable, punctual, and ready to work
- Strong work ethic and positive attitude
- Willingness to learn new skills
- Comfortable performing physically demanding work
- Able to lift and carry construction materials and equipment
- Comfortable working indoors and outdoors in varying conditions
- Able to follow instructions and work independently when required
- Valuable communication and teamwork skills
- Previous construction, renovation, landscaping, or general labour experience is an asset but not required
- Valid driver's license and reliable transportation are an asset

Pay: $19.00-$22.00 per hour

Expected hours: 30.0 – 40.0 per week
