Ikonic Barbershop – Elmira, ON

Ikonic Barbershop is looking for an experienced Barber or Hairstylist to join our team in Elmira, Ontario.

We are looking for someone with at least 1 year of professional experience who is confident with men’s haircuts, fades, beard services, and providing great customer service.

If you are a Barber who is also experienced in hairstyling, that is a strong plus!

What We’re Looking For

- Minimum 1 year of professional barbering/hairstyling experience
- Strong skills in fades, tapers, regular haircuts and scissor cuts
- Comfortable with beard trims, lineups and other basic barber services
- Good customer service and communication skills
- Friendly, professional and reliable
- Able to work independently and manage appointments efficiently
- Attention to detail and pride in your work
- Willing to maintain a clean, organized and welcoming shop
- Punctual and dependable
- Comfortable recommending services or products when appropriate
- Able to build good relationships with clients and encourage repeat business
- Must be comfortable working in a busy barbershop environment

Responsibilities
- Provide professional haircuts, fades, beard trims and other barbering services
- Consult with clients to understand their desired style
- Provide a high-quality and consistent client experience
- Keep your workstation clean and sanitized
- Help maintain cleanliness and organization throughout the shop
- Assist with front desk duties,



including greeting clients and answering basic questions
- Manage appointments, walk-ins and client flow
- Handle customer service and assist clients with booking future appointments
- Maintain professional appearance and a positive attitude
- Help with opening and closing duties when required
- Keep tools and equipment clean and properly maintained
- Follow all applicable health, safety and sanitation requirements
- Assist with general day-to-day shop responsibilities

Compensation We are flexible with the employment arrangement and can offer:
- Hourly pay, or
- Commission-based compensation

Compensation will depend on your experience, skills and availability.

Location

We are looking for someone who lives in or near Elmira, Ontario. Ideally, you should be within a reasonable commuting distance and able to reliably get to the shop.
