We are looking for reliable and experienced Handymen/women to complete residential repair, installation, mounting, assembly, and general home-maintenance work in North York and surrounding GTA areas.

The ideal candidate has practical experience completing residential handyman/woman work, is comfortable working independently, has their own basic tools, and provides qualified service when working in customers' homes.

Responsibilities

Work may include

- General handyman repairs
- Furniture assembly
- IKEA and flat-pack furniture assembly
- TV mounting
- Shelf installation
- Picture, mirror and artwork hanging
- Curtain and blind installation
- Minor drywall repairs
- Caulking and sealing
- Minor carpentry
- Door, handle and hardware installation
- Interior painting and touch-ups
- Home-office furniture setup
- Wardrobe and closet assembly
- Smart-home device installation
- General household maintenance
- Other residential handyman tasks within your experience

Electrical, plumbing, gas, HVAC or other regulated work must only be performed by individuals who hold any licence or qualification required for that work.

Qualifications

Applicants should

- Have previous handyman, maintenance, renovation, construction or similar experience
- Be comfortable using common hand and power tools
- Have strong attention to detail
- Be reliable and punctual
- Be able to work independently
- Communicate professionally with customers
- Be able to travel to customer locations
- Be able to safely perform the physical requirements of handyman work
- Have access to appropriate tools for the work being performed
- Be legally entitled to work in Canada

A valid driver's licence and access to reliable transportation are preferred.



Trade licences, certificates or other professional qualifications are considered an asset where applicable.

compensation levels depending on experience and demonstrated ability:

Compensation and expected duration will be provided before an assignment begins.

Some jobs may be paid on a fixed-service basis based on the estimated time and scope of work.

- Monday to Friday

Work availability may vary depending on customer demand and location. There are no guaranteed weekly hours unless specifically agreed upon.

This is not a remote position. Work is performed at customer locations.

Applicants should have access to basic handyman tools appropriate for the services they perform, such as:

- Drill/driver
- Screwdrivers
- Hammer
- Measuring tape
- Level
- Wrenches
- Pliers
- Basic hand tools

Specialized tools may be required depending on the type of work accepted.
