Responsibilities

- Assist residents or clients with daily activities such as bathing, dressing, grooming, and mobility to ensure their comfort and dignity
- Support patient care routines including , meal preparation, and light housekeeping to maintain a safe and clean environment
- Provide companionship and emotional support to individuals with dementia, disabilities, or those receiving hospice care
- Help with mobility and heavy lifting tasks safely using proper techniques to prevent injury for yourself and others
- Monitor health status by observing changes in condition, reporting concerns promptly to nursing staff or supervisors




- Assist with activities that promote mental stimulation and social engagement tailored to each individual’s needs
- Maintain accurate documentation of care provided, and any incidents or observations

Experience

- Prior experience working in assisted living facilities, nursing homes, or home care environments is highly preferred
- Demonstrated experience in patient care, caregiving, or senior care roles that involve supporting individuals with disabilities or dementia
- Knowledge of hospice care practices and experience working with terminally ill patients is advantageous
- Ability to perform physical tasks such as heavy lifting and assisting with mobility safely and effectively
