Job Duties & Responsibilities:

- Provide daily companion care and personal assistance to an elderly individual within a private residence.
- Administer personal care, including assistance with ambulation, bathing, dressing, undressing, and personal hygiene.
- Plan, prepare, and serve nutritious, balanced meals and specialized diets according to dietary constraints.
- Perform routine health-related tasks, including monitoring and reminding the client to take prescribed oral medications.
- Maintain a safe and clean living environment by completing light housekeeping tasks, including laundry, washing dishes, and making beds.
- Accompany the client to scheduled medical appointments, community outings, and therapy sessions.

Employment Requirements:

- Education:



Completion of secondary school (High school diploma or equivalent) is required.
- Experience: Minimum of 1 year of qualified caregiving experience or completion of a related home support training program.
- Language Requirements: Clear and functional oral and written English is the sole linguistic requirement. No other languages will be factored into candidate screening.
- Certifications: Valid First Aid and CPR Certification (or willingness to obtain before starting employment).
- Security: Successful completion of a Vulnerable Sector Police Record Check is required upon hire.
