Join an innovation initiative focused on augmenting the Software Development Lifecycle through the responsible use of generative AI, automation, and emerging software development practices. This role provides project direction, stakeholder coordination, communication, documentation, and delivery oversight across AI-enabled software development initiatives supporting an aquatic ecosystem mission. The Project Leader will work closely with technical and business stakeholders to guide experimentation, evaluation, and continuous improvement activities in an evolving environment.

Contract, Hybrid (in office 2-3 times per month)

Must Haves

- 10+ years leading or coordinating software , digital transformation , or innovation projects
- Project planning and organizational skills managing multiple activities, stakeholders, timelines, and deliverables
- Stakeholder management and communication skills developing project documentation, presentations, briefing materials, and reports
- Technical literacy supporting collaboration with developers, architects, product owners, and technical teams

Nice to Have

- Experience supporting software development or digital transformation initiatives
- Experience working with Agile, iterative, or other modern delivery methodologies
- Familiarity with generative AI and its application to software development
- Experience documenting and communicating AI experimentation, proofs of concept, or technology evaluations
- Experience with responsible AI, AI governance, security, privacy, accessibility,



or compliance considerations

Responsibilities

- Establish and maintain project plans, objectives, priorities, timelines, milestones, and deliverables
- Coordinate activities between the Senior Developer and project stakeholders
- Prepare presentations, briefing materials, status updates, meeting materials, and project communications
- Document project objectives, decisions, requirements, findings, recommendations, and lessons learned
- Coordinate the evaluation and communication of AI-enabled software development workflows
- Monitor project outcomes and stakeholder feedback to identify areas for improvement
- Maintain a roadmap for future experimentation and implementation
