Duties

- Assist in meal preparation by chopping, assembling, and portioning ingredients according to recipes and standards
- Support food handling procedures to ensure safety, cleanliness, and compliance with health regulations
- Help with food service operations by setting up stations, serving dishes, and clearing tables as needed
- Maintain cleanliness in the kitchen area by washing dishes, sanitizing surfaces, and disposing of waste properly
- Follow all food safety protocols to prevent contamination and ensure quality control throughout the food preparation process
- Support the team during busy periods by efficiently managing multiple tasks and maintaining a positive attitude




- Assist with inventory checks and restocking supplies to keep the kitchen well-equipped for daily operations

Skills

- Proven experience in cooking, food preparation, or working in a restaurant environment
- Strong understanding of food handling safety standards and hygiene practices
- Excellent teamwork skills with the ability to communicate effectively with colleagues and supervisors
- Ability to follow detailed instructions accurately while maintaining efficiency under pressure
- Basic knowledge of meal preparation techniques and food service procedures
- Previous experience in the food industry or restaurant setting is preferred but not required
- Enthusiasm for learning new culinary skills and contributing positively to a fast-paced environment
