Role: Senior Cloud Architect (Azure and AWS) + Hands-on coding + Documentation skills Location: Toronto, ON Full Time Cloud Architecture & Strategy Define and implement enterprise cloud architecture standards, frameworks, and best practices.

Design scalable, highly available, secure, and cost-optimized solutions across Azure and AWS.

Lead cloud migration, modernization, and transformation initiatives.

Develop multi-cloud and hybrid-cloud architecture strategies.

Establish cloud governance, security, compliance, and operational excellence frameworks.

Collaborate with infrastructure, application, security, and business teams to define cloud roadmaps.

Hands-on Engineering & Development Develop cloud-native applications and microservices using modern programming languages.

Build Infrastructure as Code (IaC) solutions using Terraform, Cloud

Formation, ARM Templates, or Bicep.

Automate cloud provisioning, deployment, and monitoring processes.

Design CI/CD pipelines for enterprise-scale deployments.

Troubleshoot complex cloud platform, networking, and application issues.

Perform technical reviews, code reviews, and architecture assessments.

Documentation & Design Governance Create High-Level Design (HLD), Low-Level Design (LLD), Architecture Decision Records (ADR), and solution blueprints.

Produce architecture diagrams, deployment guides, operational runbooks, and governance documentation.

Document non-functional requirements, security controls, disaster recovery strategies, and deployment standards.

Present architectural solutions to executive stakeholders and technical teams.

Security & Compliance Design cloud security architectures following Zero Trust principles.

Implement IAM, encryption, secrets management, logging,



and audit controls.

Ensure compliance with industry standards such as SOC2, HIPAA, GDPR, PCI-DSS, and ISO 27001.

Conduct cloud security assessments and architecture reviews.

Leadership & Stakeholder Management Serve as the technical lead for cloud transformation programs.

Mentor solution architects, cloud engineers, and development teams.

Engage with senior stakeholders to align technology solutions with business objectives.

Drive architecture governance and cloud adoption best practices.

Required Skills & Qualifications Experience 12+ years of experience in IT Infrastructure, Cloud Engineering, or Solution Architecture. 5+ years of enterprise architecture experience across Azure and AWS.

Proven experience leading large-scale cloud migration and modernization initiatives.
