Key Responsibilities Provide consistent monitoring of artworks, visitors, staff, and museum property, ensuring their safety from damage Be a host greet and welcome all visitors to MOCA, and be available to answer questions throughout the museum Stay current with the daily schedule of events, informing visitors as needed Enforce security and safety procedures and protocols in all public spaces of the museum Answering visitor questions concerning exhibits, wayfinding, and facilities Become an expert in MOCAs programmes, the museum building and its place in the Junction Triangle neighbourhood and cultural community When assigned, circulate the museum and support busier floors Detect and respond to potential interference of artwork Ensuring visitors follow museum rules Support in completing reports as needed Manage traffic and visitor wayfinding within the museums Provide support during museum events, including weekends and holidays Undertake other duties as assigned by the supervisor Provide support to special events and venue rentals as needed Report damage or change in condition of spaces/ art objects immediately Skills, Knowledge and Expertise Must-haves Minimum 1-2 years of experience in a security role Minimum 1 year of experience in a customer service role High school diploma or GED equivalent Must be able to work regular weekends, evenings,
