About the Company Our client is a leading Canadian full-service law firm with a strong reputation for excellence and innovation.

We are supporting their search for a Bilingual Legal Administrative Assistant to join their Montreal team.

About the Role Collaborate with team members and various Firm departments to triage, prioritize, and manage requests, ensuring timely and efficient completion of work.

Manage fluctuating workloads with minimal supervision, overseeing intake processes and coordinating priorities to meet deadlines and service requirements.

Provide administrative and operational support to lawyers and timekeepers, including expense reports, vendor invoices, cheques, document management, database entry, scanning, printing, and archiving.

Draft, edit, format, and proofread a variety of legal and business documents, including correspondence, memoranda, transaction documents, reports, forms, and basic court documents.

Provide lawyer and client support, including coordinating travel arrangements, preparing itineraries, updating client information, and assisting with practice group-specific legal documentation.

Work closely with Records Management and other Firm support resources to create, maintain, organize, and store client files in accordance with Firm policies and procedures.

Maintain strong knowledge of legal terminology, court rules, and procedures, while providing guidance on processes, troubleshooting timekeeper-related issues, and sharing knowledge with team members and stakeholders.





The Offer The firm offers a competitive compensation package ranging between $55,000 - $65,000, a hybrid working model, a comprehensive benefits package from day one and a generous vacation allotment What You Bring 1+ years of experience as a Legal Administrative Assistant Legal Assistant certification.

Intermediate proficiency in Microsoft Office, including Outlook, Word, Excel, and Power

Point, with the ability to quickly learn and utilize firm-specific technology and processes.

Robust word processing, proofreading, editing, spelling, and document formatting skills, with a high level of accuracy and attention to detail.

Excellent organizational and time management skills, with the ability to prioritize competing demands, manage multiple tasks, and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.

Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work collaboratively and interact with colleagues and clients with professionalism, tact, and respect. A client-service-oriented approach, with the ability to actively listen, understand needs, clarify expectations, and provide timely and responsive support.

Proactive and dependable, with the ability to identify potential issues or obstacles, communicate updates effectively, and seek solutions to ensure requests are completed successfully.
