Duties

- Prepare and cook menu items according to established recipes and quality standards
- Assist in menu planning by suggesting innovative dish ideas and ensuring ingredient availability
- Maintain high standards of food safety and sanitation throughout all kitchen activities
- Handle food with care, ensuring proper storage, handling, and presentation
- Support catering events by preparing large quantities of food efficiently and accurately
- Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure smooth service flow during busy hours
- Use knife skills expertly to chop, slice, and prepare ingredients for various dishes

Requirements





- Proven experience in dietary departments or dietary aide roles is highly desirable
- Strong background in food preparation, cooking, and food handling within restaurant or food service settings
- Experience with menu planning, meal preparation, and catering is a plus
- Demonstrated culinary experience in fine dining environments preferred
- Excellent knife skills and knowledge of food safety protocols are essential
- Ability to work efficiently under pressure while maintaining attention to detail
- Prior kitchen experience in the food industry or restaurant setting is required
