Role Description The Logistics Specialist is a full-time, on-site role based in Mississauga, ON.

This role is responsible for coordinating daily freight movements, ensuring accurate scheduling, load planning, and routing for LTL and truckload shipments.

The Logistics

Specialist will monitor shipment status, resolve delivery issues, and communicate with drivers, customers, and internal teams to support on-time performance. The role includes managing documentation for domestic and cross-border freight,



maintaining records in transportation management systems, and supporting compliance with regulatory and customer requirements.

Specialist will also collaborate with operations and customer service teams to optimize workflows, improve service quality, and support continuous process improvements.

Qualifications

- Robust Communication and Customer Service skills to interact effectively with drivers, clients, and internal teams.
- Solid Analytical Skills and Supply Chain Management knowledge to coordinate shipments, optimize routes, and support operational efficiency.
- Understanding of Export processes and documentation for cross-border and international shipments.
- Experience in logistics, transportation, or freight operations, preferably within LTL and truckload environments.
- Proficiency with transportation or logistics management systems and basic office software (e.g., Excel, email, data entry).
- Ability to work on-site in a fast-paced environment, prioritize tasks, and manage time effectively.
- Attention to detail and commitment to accuracy in scheduling, documentation, and record-keeping.
- Post-secondary education in logistics, supply chain, business, or a related field, or equivalent work experience.
