Location: Derry & Torbram, Mississauga, Ontario

Work Model: Primarily On-Site

Position Type: Full-Time

Career Level: Entry Level / New Graduate

Approx. Start Date: First week of November 2026

Job Summary

We are seeking a creative, organized and detail-oriented Marketing & Client Relations Coordinator to join Packaging Easy Inc., a growing Canadian packaging company helping businesses bring their brands to life through custom-printed and everyday packaging solutions.

This is a hands-on business and marketing position where you will work directly with clients, develop packaging concepts, create marketing content, coordinate samples, operate our printing technology, manage digital platforms, and help turn customer ideas into real products.

You won't be limited to one small piece of the business. You will gain exposure to marketing, branding, design, client relationships, Google Ads, Meta Ads, social media, e-commerce, printing technology and business operations.

For the right person, this position is designed to develop toward future opportunities in Marketing, Brand Management and Marketing Leadership as the company grows.

ResponsibilitiesClient Relations & Customer Experience

- Speak with clients to understand their business, brand and packaging requirements.
- Coordinate virtual client meetings, calls, emails and follow-ups.
- Translate customer ideas into clear packaging and branding requirements.
- Manage sample requests, artwork revisions and customer feedback.
- Maintain organized follow-up schedules so opportunities continue moving forward.
- Support clients through order confirmation and payment follow-up.
- Build ongoing relationships with existing clients.
- Follow up for reorders and identify upcoming or seasonal packaging requirements.
- Professionally support customers who visit our Mississauga facility.

Creative Design & Packaging Concepts
- Use Canva and Adobe design tools to develop customer-facing creative concepts.
- Turn logos, colours and customer ideas into approximately 3–4 initial packaging concepts.
- Create mock-ups and sample artwork for bags, boxes and other packaging.
- Make revisions based on customer feedback.
- Work with our external skilled designers when advanced or final production artwork is required.
- Maintain organized customer artwork and design files.
- Develop an understanding of print-ready artwork, positioning, sizing and packaging design.

You don't need to be a senior graphic designer. You do need to be creative, detail-oriented and comfortable working with design tools. Printing Machine Ownership & Scheduling A unique part of this marketing position is seeing your creative work become a physical product. You will be trained to run Packaging Easy's printing machine and associated printing software.
- Operate the printing machine for customer samples and scheduled printing requirements.
- Send and manage print commands and artwork files.
- Set up and verify artwork before printing.
- Produce and inspect printed samples for presentation to customers.
- Create and maintain the printing schedule based on customer requirements and priorities.
- Coordinate printing timelines with the broader team.
- Track upcoming printing requirements and ensure samples and jobs are completed on time.
- Take accountability for the organization, scheduling and day-to-day operation of the printing workflow.
- Learn basic machine operation, settings and routine operating procedures.

Role Boundary — Important:

This is not a warehouse/general labour role. The employee operates and coordinates the printing process but is not responsible for heavy lifting, moving pallets/boxes, deliveries or routine warehouse labour. This is also not a cold-call/door-to-door sales role; Sales/Business Development generates the lead. Occasionally, 5–30% of this might be required to support the business if needed. Digital Marketing, Advertising & Brand Development

- Help manage Packaging Easy's social-media channels.
- Create social posts, reels, short-form videos and other digital content.
- Support and help manage Meta Ads across Facebook and Instagram.
- Support and help manage Google Ads, including search and local advertising campaigns.
- Assist with campaign setup, creative development, audience targeting and ongoing optimization.
- Monitor basic advertising performance and help identify which campaigns, audiences and creative content are generating results.
- Assist with product photography, product placement and promotional content.
- Create marketing materials using Canva and Adobe tools.
- Help develop campaigns around products, seasonal opportunities and customer needs.
- Support website and e-commerce marketing content.
- Bring new marketing ideas to the team rather than simply waiting for instructions.

E-Commerce, CRM & Business Systems
- Work with Shopify, Zoho and other ERP/CRM systems used by Packaging Easy.
- Maintain accurate client information, communication notes and follow-up activities.
- Track customer artwork, samples, orders and relationship history.
- Support order coordination and status follow-up.
- Maintain organized digital records and customer files.
- Learn how marketing, customer relationships, e-commerce and operations connect within a real business.

Experience & Qualifications This position could be an excellent fit for a recent college or university graduate who wants to build a career in marketing and is looking for broad real-world experience early in their career.

Your education may be in:

- Marketing
- Business / Business Marketing
- Advertising
- Digital Marketing
- Graphic Design
- Communications
- Media / Creative Studies
- E-Commerce
- Or another related discipline

More important than the exact program is the person. We are looking for someone who is:
- Creative and visually minded.
- Extremely organized and detail-oriented.
- Confident speaking professionally with clients.
- Comfortable following up instead of waiting for customers to respond.
- Able to manage several customer projects simultaneously.
- Interested in both the creative and business sides of marketing.
- Comfortable learning new software and technology.
- Accountable for deadlines and follow-through.
- Able to work independently once trained.
- Professional and presentable when interacting with customers.
- Curious and willing to learn how different parts of a growing company operate.

Skills That Will Help You Succeed Experience or familiarity with any of the following is valuable:

Canva Adobe Photoshop / Illustrator Meta Ads Google Ads Social Media Content Creation Digital Marketing Shopify Zoho CRM/ERP Systems Microsoft Office Photography/Video Customer Communication

You do not need to be an expert in every platform on day one. We value someone who learns quickly, takes ownership and is excited to develop new capabilities.

A small creative portfolio—including school projects, Canva work, advertisements, social-media content, branding projects or other creative work—is welcomed.

Nice-to-Have Assets — Not Mandatory

- A technological mindset and genuine interest in learning new digital tools, platforms and systems.
- Basic comfort with data, numbers, reporting or understanding marketing/business performance.
- A valid driver's licence is considered an asset.

These are assets only and are not mandatory requirements for the position. What This Role Is — and Isn't

This role IS: Marketing + branding + client relationships + digital advertising + creative work + printing technology + e-commerce + business exposure.

This role IS NOT: Cold-call sales, door-to-door sales, delivery driving, warehouse picking, heavy lifting or a general labour position.

Our Sales/Business Development function generates and develops new opportunities. The Marketing & Client Relations Coordinator helps transform those opportunities into strong customer experiences and long-term relationships.

Growth, Flexibility & Our Workplace

We're building Packaging Easy with the belief that people do their best work when they are learning, trusted and able to maintain a healthy life outside of work.

- Monthly Pizza Day — a simple prospect for the team to eat together and connect.
- One Hybrid Day Per Month — an opportunity to work remotely when the nature of your work allows.
- Flexibility for Life — we understand that doctor's appointments and important personal needs happen. We aim to provide reasonable flexibility when needed while maintaining accountability for the work.
- Hands-On Learning — exposure to marketing, advertising, design, technology, customer relationships, e-commerce and printing rather than being limited to one narrow responsibility.
- Direct Exposure to the Business — work closely with the people building the company and understand how decisions are made.
- Room to Bring Ideas — we're looking for someone who contributes ideas and improves how we work, not someone who simply follows a checklist.
- Growth Opportunities — as the company grows, we want strong performers to grow with it.

We believe in professional growth, accountability and work-life balance. Flexibility works both ways: we support our people when life requires it, and we expect our people to take ownership when the business needs them. Where This Position Can Take You

We're intentionally creating this position for someone at the beginning of their career who wants to learn quickly.

Marketing Coordinator → Marketing Specialist / Lead → Marketing Manager The exact path will depend on performance, capability and the growth of the business.

At a larger organization, you might only touch one small part of the customer or marketing process. At Packaging Easy, you'll have the opportunity to understand how an idea moves from:

Customer Conversation → Creative Concept → Physical Sample → Order → Marketing → Long-Term Client Relationship

If you're looking for an early-career opportunity where you can create, learn, take ownership and see the direct impact of your work, we'd like to hear from you.
