Job Summary

We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Millwork Installer to join our dynamic construction team. In this role, you will be responsible for installing custom millwork components, including cabinetry, trim, moldings, and other woodwork elements, ensuring precision and quality in every project. Your expertise will contribute to transforming spaces with expertly crafted wood finishes and fixtures.

This position offers an exciting opportunity to work on diverse projects, from residential renovations to commercial builds, utilizing your carpentry skills and construction experience to deliver outstanding results.

Duties

- Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and technical drawings to accurately install millwork components.
- Measure, cut, assemble, and install cabinetry, moldings, drywall trims, siding, and other wood-based fixtures using hand tools and power tools.
- Perform concrete forming, rebar installation, flooring installation, tile laying, and roofing tasks as required for project completion.
- Execute drywall installation and finishing, construction painting, caulking, and siding application to ensure seamless finishes.
- Assist with masonry work including basic rebar placement and concrete forming when needed.
- Conduct electrical and plumbing rough-ins related to millwork installations where applicable.
- Maintain a safe work environment by adhering to safety protocols during heavy lifting, scaffolding setup, and equipment operation.




- Collaborate with project managers and team members to ensure timely completion of projects within specifications.
- Utilize schematics and technical instructions for precise assembly and installation of custom woodwork components.
- Support restoration projects by repairing or replacing damaged millwork or related structures.

Experience

- Proven experience in construction, carpentry, woodworking or related trades with a strong understanding of blueprint reading and schematics.
- Familiarity with a wide range of hand tools, power tools, CNC machinery, and heavy equipment used in millwork installation.
- Knowledge of construction estimating processes and the ability to read technical drawings accurately.
- Experience working on diverse projects such as cabinetry installation, drywall finishing, flooring setup, tile laying or roofing is highly desirable.
- Ability to perform heavy lifting safely while maintaining attention to detail during complex installations.
- Prior handyman experience or skills in electrical or plumbing work will be considered an asset.
- Robust understanding of safety standards related to masonry, siding installation, rebar placement, caulking techniques and general construction practices.
