Operations Lead – Hands-On Field Leadership

Timberline Enterprises is seeking a capable, take-charge Operations Lead to drive day-to-day field operations. We specialize in professional fence construction and related outdoor work. This is a true leadership role for someone who thrives in the field, runs projects efficiently, and is trusted to make decisions on-site.

What You’ll Own

- Lead daily field operations: plan and coordinate materials, labor, and equipment so jobs stay on schedule and on budget
- Expertly operate and oversee equipment — especially skid steers — along with post pounders, ATVs, and related machinery while setting the standard for safe, productive work
- Direct fence construction and repair crews — layout, installation of wire and planks, quality control, and problem-solving in real time
- Serve as the primary on-site decision-maker and communication link with ownership, keeping projects moving and issues resolved quickly
- Continuously improve job-site efficiency, crew performance, and work quality

What We’re Looking For
- Proven experience in fence construction,



agricultural/farm work, or comparable outdoor field operations
- Highly skilled skid steer operator — this is non-negotiable; you must be very proficient and confident running a skid steer daily
- Robust overall equipment operation skills and comfort leading from the front
- Natural leadership ability — you take ownership, organize people and resources, and keep crews productive without constant oversight
- Physical readiness for outdoor work in all conditions
- Valid driver’s license (Class 1 or trailer experience is a strong asset)
