Job Summary

We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Order Picker to join our energetic warehouse team. In this role, you will be responsible for accurately selecting and preparing products for shipment, ensuring that orders are fulfilled efficiently and correctly. Your mechanical knowledge and experience with heavy equipment operation will be vital in handling various warehouse tools and machinery.

Responsibilities

- Efficiently pick, pack, and prepare customer orders using warehouse management systems (WMS)
- Operate heavy equipment such as forklifts, clamp trucks, cranes, and other load/unload machinery safely and effectively
- Load and unload shipments, ensuring proper handling of goods with heavy lifting techniques
- Conduct quality checks on picked items to verify accuracy before shipment
- Assist with shipping & receiving processes,



including documentation and inventory updates
- Maintain a clean, organized work area to promote safety and efficiency
- Collaborate with team members to meet daily order fulfillment targets while adhering to safety protocols

Experience

- Previous warehouse experience or distribution center work preferred
- Mechanical knowledge related to heavy equipment operation such as forklifts, cranes, or clamp trucks
- Hands-on experience with warehouse management systems (WMS) or similar inventory software
- Familiarity with shipping & receiving procedures in a fast-paced environment
- Construction or heavy equipment operation experience is a plus
- Ability to perform heavy lifting safely and efficiently throughout the shift
- Knowledge of warehouse safety standards and best practices for load & unload activities
