Responsibilities

Assist pharmacists with preparing and dispensing prescriptions accurately and efficiently.

Answer phone calls and respond to customer inquiries with care and efficiency

Process prescription refills and enter new prescriptions with accuracy

Manage incoming faxes and maintain organized records

Follow Standard Operating Procedures, pharmacist direction,



and comply with all legal and regulatory requirements

Manage inventory by receiving deliveries, stocking shelves, and tracking medication supplies to prevent shortages.

Keep the pharmacy area clean and organized; safely dispose of expired medications and hazardous waste in accordance with regulations

Collaborate with healthcare teams to coordinate patient care and facilitate smooth pharmacy operations.

Experience

Minimum 2 years experience as a pharmacy assistant.

Demonstrated ability to deliver compassionate patient care is essential for building trust and rapport.

Robust organizational skills and attention to detail are crucial for managing inventory and documentation effectively.

Pay: $17.60-$23.00 per hour
