Pharmacy Assistant/Technician for a pharmacy in Scarborough.

Position Type: Part Time (Saturdays plus 2 more day)

Responsibilities of a Remedy’s Pharmacy Assistant/Technician include:

- Patient greeting and confirmation of accuracy of all pertinent prescription information prior to filling,
- Must be efficient in data entry (Rx ) in Fillware and TP adjudication
- Accurate dispensing prescription medications,
- Maintenance of pharmacy stock through inventory control systems,
- General OTC inquiries from patients and referral to Pharmacist where required and necessary,
- Handling customer prescription pick up, Assisting with cashier responsibilities as required in the Pharmacy

QUALIFICATIONS:

- At least high school diploma
- Certification from an accredited Pharmacy Assistant/Technician program is preferred




- At least 2 years experience is required as a Pharmacy Assistant/Tech preferably in Fillware software
- Excellent computer skills with good typing speed
- Excellent organization skills, proactive, team player, strong motivated

· Attractive salary will be provided for right candidate WORK HOURS: 7-10 hrs shifts 3 days per week including saturdays
