IAM Physiotherapy Clinic is seeking a Physiatrist / Physical Medicine & Rehabilitation (PM&R;) Physician to join our established multidisciplinary rehabilitation clinic in Newmarket, Ontario.

We are looking for a physician who enjoys working with musculoskeletal, neurological and complex rehabilitation patients and values a collaborative approach to patient care.

This opportunity may be particularly suitable for a physician looking to establish or expand a part-time community-based rehabilitation or musculoskeletal practice in York Region.

Depending on the physician's interests, training and scope of practice, the practice may include patients presenting with:

- Persistent or complex musculoskeletal conditions
- Neck and low-back disorders
- Radicular and peripheral nerve-related symptoms
- Shoulder,



hip and knee conditions
- Chronic pain and functional limitations
- Sports and activity-related injuries
- Post-operative rehabilitation
- Neurological rehabilitation
- Work-related injuries
- Motor vehicle accident rehabilitation
- Functional impairment following injury or illness
- Rehabilitation cases that have plateaued or require additional medical assessment
- Appropriate diagnostic investigations and specialist referrals

Physicians with additional experience in musculoskeletal medicine, electrodiagnostic medicine, ultrasound-guided procedures, injection therapies, concussion or other areas of rehabilitation medicine are especially welcome to contact us. Why IAM?

Qualifications

Applicants must

- Be licensed to practise medicine in Ontario
- Be in good standing with the College of Physicians and Surgeons of Ontario
- Have appropriate professional liability protection
- Have specialist training in Physical Medicine & Rehabilitation (PM&R;/Physiatry) or otherwise meet the applicable requirements for the proposed practice
- Maintain appropriate medical documentation and professional standards
- Be interested in collaborative, patient-centred rehabilitation care
