Responsibilities
- Prepare pizza dough, sauces, toppings, and other ingredients with attention to quality and safety standards
- Assemble pizzas according to recipes and customer specifications, ensuring consistency and presentation excellence
- Operate pizza ovens and other kitchen equipment safely and efficiently to cook pizzas to perfection
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the kitchen area, adhering to food safety and handling protocols
- Assist in inventory management by monitoring supplies and notifying management of stock levels
- Serve customers at the counter or via takeout orders with friendly, prompt service
- Follow all food handling procedures to ensure compliance with health regulations and safety standards
Qualifications
- Previous food service or restaurant experience preferred, especially in food preparation or kitchen roles
- Knowledge of food safety practices and proper food handling procedures
- Experience with meal preparation, cooking techniques, and working in a fast-paced environment
- Strong attention to detail when assembling pizzas and maintaining cleanliness standards
- Excellent communication skills for serving customers and collaborating with team members
- Ability to stand for extended periods, lift moderate weights, and work efficiently under pressure
- A positive attitude with a passion for creating delicious food that exceeds customer expectations
