Key Responsibilities

- Design, develop, and deploy Power BI dashboards and reports using Power BI Desktop and Power BI Service
- Build and optimize data models, including relationships, calculated columns, and measures
- Write and optimize DAX queries for complex business logic and performance
- Connect Power BI to multiple data sources (SQL Server, Excel, Azure, APIs, etc.)
- Perform data validation, reconciliation, and performance tuning
- Implement Row-Level Security (RLS) and manage workspace access
- Work with stakeholders to gather requirements and translate them into BI solutions
- Maintain documentation for reports, datasets, and data models
- Support enhancements, defect fixes, and production issues
- Follow best practices for visual design, usability, and performance

Required Skills





- Strong hands-on experience with Power BI (Desktop & Service)
- Proficiency in DAX, Power Query (M), and data modeling
- Strong SQL skills for querying and validating data
- Experience with data warehousing concepts (fact/dimension tables, star schema)
- Knowledge of ETL concepts and data transformation
- Experience working in Agile/Scrum environments
- Valuable understanding of data visualization best practices

The expected compensation for this role ranges from CAD 100,000 to CAD 150,000.
