ABOUT US

We are a leading real estate group specializing in construction [commercial, multi-family, and/or condominium] development, and property portfolio management]. We are committed to creating vibrant, sustainable communities and delivering exceptional service to our tenants, owners, and investors. Our core values of integrity, innovation, collaboration, and excellence drive everything we do.

Our Property Management division oversees a growing portfolio of multifamily residential properties. We're a lean, close-knit team that values direct communication, ownership of your work, and providing quality service and products. As our portfolio grows, we're looking for someone to lead day-to-day operations, financial reporting, and team performance for the division.

ABOUT THE ROLE

We're hiring a Property Operations Manager to take ownership of the business side of property management: budgeting, financial reporting, vendor and owner relationships, and team leadership, so our property managers and on-site caretakers can stay focused on residents and buildings.

This is a hands-on leadership role: you'll set the systems, hold the numbers, and keep the team moving, especially as we bring new units online this year.

This role reports to ownership and works closely with our admin and maintenance coordination staff.

WHAT YOU'LL DO

- Own monthly and quarterly financial reporting for the portfolio: budgets, variance reports, owner statements, AP oversight
- Supervise and support property management and administrative staff, setting priorities and removing blockers

- Build and refine operating systems and processes as the portfolio grows - you'll be evaluating what's working, what isn't, and fixing it
- Manage vendor and contractor relationships for maintenance and services, including reviewing invoices and negotiating terms
- Track occupancy, leasing, and turnover metrics, and report on portfolio performance to ownership
- Act as the point of escalation for issues that need a level head and a clear decision
- Support onboarding of newly acquired units into the portfolio, including systems setup and staffing needs

QUALIFICATIONS To succeed in this role, you should have:

- 5 years of experience in property management, real estate operations, or a closely related field
- Demonstrated experience in a managerial or supervisory capacity
- Strong accounting and financial reporting skills - comfort with budgets, P&Ls;, AP/AR, and owner reporting is essential
- A calm, steady presence under pressure - this role carries real deadlines and competing priorities, and steady, level-headed decision-making keeps things moving
- A positive, solutions-first mindset - someone who enjoys spotting a broken process and building a better way to run it
- Comfort with property management software and standard office/reporting tools (e.g., AppFolio, Buildium, Yardi, or similar)
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills, including with property owners and outside vendors

BONUS:

- Experience managing a multifamily or new-construction portfolio
- Experience scaling operations during a growth period (e.g., onboarding new units or properties)
- Familiarity with construction or general contracting operations

WHAT WE OFFER

Competitive salary and comprehensive advantages package, including:

- A small, direct team where your decisions visibly shape how the business runs
- Room to build and own the systems you're improving
- Opportunities for professional development and career advancement
