We are looking for a compassionate, reliable, and experienced Live-In Personal Support Worker (PSW) to provide full-time care for an elderly woman living with Multiple Sclerosis (MS). She uses a wheelchair and has no mobility in her legs, requiring assistance with daily activities and personal care.

The successful candidate will live in the home and provide dedicated support in a safe, comfortable, and respectful workplace.

Job responsibilities

Assist with getting in and out of bed and transferring to and from her wheelchair using appropriate equipment.

Provide personal hygiene care, including bathing, showering, dressing, and changing.

Prepare and cook daily meals.

Perform household duties, including cleaning, laundry, and maintaining a tidy living environment.

Assist with daily routines and other personal care needs.

Provide companionship and ensure her comfort, dignity, and safety.

Qualifications and requirements





Previous experience working as a Personal Support Worker (PSW) or in a similar caregiving role.

Experience caring for individuals with limited mobility or wheelchair users.

Must provide a clear police background check, including a Vulnerable Sector Check.

Knowledge of safe patient transfers and mobility assistance.

Must be patient, compassionate, trustworthy, and dependable.

Must be comfortable living in the home full-time.
