In Person Psychotherapist RP RSW or RN The Morgan Centre | North Bay, Ontario

Part time independent contractor | $100 per clinical hour

Position Overview The Morgan Centre is seeking an experienced Registered Psychotherapist (RP), Registered Social Worker (RSW), or Registered Nurse (RN) practising psychotherapy to join our clinical team. This position involves in-person client appointments at our North Bay clinic. Virtual-only applicants will not be considered.

This role is suited to a clinician who is comfortable working independently while also valuing collaboration within a professional group practice. The successful candidate will provide ethical, evidence-informed psychotherapy to clients presenting with a range of mental health concerns.

Required Qualifications

Current registration in good standing in Ontario as an RP with CRPO, an RSW with OCSWSSW, or an RN with CNO who has competence and experience in psychotherapy.

Qualified to provide psychotherapy independently within the requirements of your regulatory college. RP applicants must have met CRPO’s independent practice requirement. RP (Qualifying) applicants and Registered Social Service Workers (RSSWs) are not eligible.

Available to provide in-person psychotherapy in North Bay.

Significant clinical experience providing psychotherapy to clients within your areas of competence.

Strong clinical assessment, treatment-planning, case-management, and documentation skills.

Sound professional judgment, ethical decision-making, and appropriate professional boundaries.

Ability to manage a clinical caseload independently and recognize when consultation is appropriate.

Experience working with trauma, PTSD, anxiety, occupational or operational stress injuries, first responders, or complex clinical presentations is an asset. Training and experience in CBT, CPT, and/or EMDR are also assets.

Key Responsibilities

Provide in-person psychotherapy within your qualified scope of practice and areas of competence.





Conduct clinical assessments and develop individualized treatment plans.

Provide evidence-informed interventions based on client presentation and treatment goals.

Monitor client progress and adjust treatment plans when clinically indicated.

Complete clinical documentation in a timely and professional manner.

Conduct risk assessments and safety planning when required.

Maintain confidentiality, informed consent, and professional boundaries.

Manage your clinical schedule and communicate about changes, cancellations, or client-care concerns.

Participate in consultation and collaborative care when clinically appropriate.

Maintain current registration, professional liability insurance, and other requirements applicable to your designation.

Practise in accordance with applicable legislation, ethical standards, and your regulatory college’s standards.

Practice Environment The Morgan Centre provides psychological and psychotherapy services in a professional group practice. Our clinical work includes clients experiencing trauma, anxiety, occupational stress, operational stress injuries, and other mental health concerns. Hours and caseload will be discussed based on clinician availability and practice needs. Specific scheduling, administrative processes, and contractual terms will be discussed during the interview process.
