Job Overview
We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Registered Veterinary Technician to join our dynamic team. In this vital role, you will assist veterinarians in delivering exceptional medical care, perform diagnostic tests, and ensure smooth clinic operations. Your expertise will help improve the health and well-being of our patients while supporting our mission to deliver outstanding veterinary services.
Responsibilities
- Assist veterinarians during examinations, surgeries, and procedures with confidence and precision
- Collect and Analyze laboratory samples, including blood, urine, and tissue specimens, utilizing laboratory experience to ensure accurate results
- Administer medications, vaccinations, and treatments as prescribed by the veterinarian
- Monitor patient health status before, during, and after procedures to ensure safety and comfort
- Maintain detailed medical records and update patient files accurately and efficiently
- Educate pet owners on post-treatment care, medication administration, and preventive health strategies
- Support clinic operations by sterilizing equipment, and maintaining a clean environment
Skills
- Valid registration as a Veterinary Technician with relevant licensing authorities
- Strong laboratory experience with proficiency in diagnostic testing procedures
- Excellent communication skills to effectively educate clients and collaborate with team members
- Ability to multitask efficiently in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail
- Compassionate approach with a genuine passion for animal health and welfare
