**Job Title: General Production Worker (Container Repair Technician)**
**Job Description**
This role focuses on inspecting, repairing, and maintaining storage containers to ensure they are secure, functional, and presentable.

You will work in a warehouse environment, performing hands-on repairs, using power tools, and supporting general production and housekeeping tasks as part of a small, collaborative team.
**Responsibilities**
Inspect trailers and containers to assess damage and identify required repairs.

Remove damaged exterior panels and replace them with new panels according to quality standards.

Repair and replace inner wood tiles and interior walls to restore structural integrity.

Perform paint touch-ups using roller brushes and paint brushes to maintain a clean and professional appearance.

Use hand and power tools, including hammers and power drills, to prepare and repair containers.

Clean and maintain the work area using tools such as leaf blowers and brooms to remove dust and debris.

Support general labor and production tasks as needed to meet operational requirements.

Follow safety procedures and use appropriate safety gear while performing all tasks.

Collaborate with the team lead and the other production worker to coordinate daily tasks and priorities.
**Essential Skills**
At least 1 year of experience working in a manufacturing or production setting.

Experience using power tools such as power drills, power sanders, and hammers.

Ability to perform basic mechanical and structural repairs on containers or similar equipment.

Comfort working in a small team and communicating effectively with colleagues and the team lead.

Capability to perform physically demanding tasks, including lifting, bending, and standing for extended periods.

Ownership and use of appropriate personal safety gear while on the job.

Attention to detail when inspecting containers and completing repairs.

Ability to maintain a clean and organized work area.
**Work Environment**
The role is based in a large warehouse primarily used for storage, with a small production team that includes a team lead and one other worker.

You will work around trailers and containers, using hand tools and power tools such as hammers, power drills, power sanders, leaf blowers, and brooms.

The environment is hands-on and can be dusty, requiring regular cleanup and adherence to safety practices.





You are expected to wear appropriate safety gear that you provide, suitable for a warehouse and repair setting.

Work is conducted in office in a collaborative setting where communication with the team lead and colleagues is frequent and direct.
**Job Type & Location**
This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Mississauga, ON.
**Pay and Benefits**
The pay range for this position is $20.50 - $20.50/hr.

Individual compensation offered for this position within this range will depend on many factors, including qualifications, skills, relevant experience, job knowledge, geographic location, internal equity, and other pertinent job-related factors.

This is a fully onsite position in Mississauga,ON.
