The Continuous Improvement Leader will initiate and drive Continuous Improvement projects within a fast-paced, high-growth food manufacturing environment.

The Program Leader will be a key member in implementing new strategic initiatives and special projects in our current and new facilities, with the aim of standardizing best practices and enabling FGF to effectively grow.

This role will lead and mentor multiple Continuous Improvement Engineers and support their scalability initiatives.

Primary Responsibilities

Responsible for providing leadership in Continuous Improvement methodologies such as Lean and Six Sigma to help eliminate waste, increase productivity, reduce costs and improve efficiencies across all of operations, in Manufacturing

Create an environment which continues to foster continuous improvement and lean manufacturing

Lead and mentor a team of Continuous Improvement Engineers, removing roadblocks, mitigating risk, communicating, and escalating to relevant level of leadership when required

Lead projects as a technical expert to Operations on improving processes

Carry out Continuous Improvement initiatives such as quality clinics,



problem-solving workshops and Kaizens by demonstrating a rigorous method such as DMAICWill work closely with all departments and levels of management Guide their team in defining problems in their sector and in identifying opportunities for improvement

Assist the change management process and ensure everyone''s involvement through strong facilitation and change agent skills

Act as a coach to the team in their development and use of Continuous Improvement tools and techniques, and identify potential training needs to elevate their overall capabilities

Required Experience3-5 years related experience in manufacturing (food industry highly preferred)2+ years management/leadership experience

Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Business Management or a related field

Expert knowledge of Continuous Improvement Systems, Six-Sigma, Lean Manufacturing, Kaizen etc.

Excellent computer skills (MS Office, VBA knowledge is an asset)Collaborative/mentoring/coaching management style

Data Analysis (Minitab, Matlab, and Python knowledge is an asset)Six Sigma certification required, ideally SS Black Belt

Able to provide expertise and knowledge across the organization

Ability to manage and deliver multiple Operational Excellence projects

Excellent communication skills, both oral and written The ability to multitask and work in a fast-paced production setting





Flexible to work various work schedules as needed

The ability to exercise sound judgment and make timely decisions Strong analytical skills both, written and verbal (English)Resourceful with a sense of urgency in providing solutions

Must have valid driver's license and vehicle
