**Job Title: Shipper and Receiver**
**Job Description**
This role focuses on shipping and receiving for a packaging machinery organization with a strong international client base.

You will manage daily shipments, coordinate with clients in the United States, and work extensively with Fed

Ex and UPS online portals to ensure accurate, timely, and compliant deliveries.
**Responsibilities**
Manage all incoming and outgoing shipments, ensuring accuracy, completeness, and proper documentation.

Coordinate international shipments, particularly to clients in the United States, following applicable shipping requirements and processes.

Use Fed

Ex and UPS online portals to create, track, and manage shipments, including labels, documentation, and status updates.

Perform shipping and receiving tasks such as unloading, checking, labeling, and organizing products and materials.

Maintain accurate inventory records by performing regular inventory control and cycle counts.

Operate a counterbalance forklift safely and efficiently to move, load, and unload materials.

Use SAP or similar systems to record inventory movements, shipping details, and receiving information.

Assist with picking orders and preparing them for shipment, ensuring correct quantities and proper packaging.

Support the management of inventory levels by organizing stock, identifying discrepancies, and reporting issues promptly.

Collaborate with team members to maintain a clean, organized, and safe warehouse and shipping area.

Handle basic documentation related to tariffs and international shipping when required.

Use hand and power tools as needed to support shipping, receiving, and packaging activities.
**Essential Skills**
Minimum of 3 years of experience as a shipper and receiver, including international shipping responsibilities.

Proven experience dealing with international clients, particularly in the United States.

Hands-on experience working with Fed

Ex and UPS shipping portals.

Practical experience performing shipping and receiving tasks, including cycle counts and receiving duties.

At least 6 months of counterbalance forklift experience.

Valid forklift license, specifically for counterbalance operation.

Experience using SAP or similar enterprise resource planning systems.

Ability to organize, track, and maintain accurate inventory records.

Strong attention to detail and accuracy in handling documentation and shipments.
**Additional Skills & Qualifications**
Experience with hand and power tools in a warehouse or shipping environment.

Exposure to tariffs and related documentation for international shipments.

Experience with picking orders and preparing them for shipping.

Comfort working in a small team environment with varied responsibilities.





Strong communication skills to coordinate effectively with internal teams and external carriers.

The workspace is temperature-controlled, offering a comfortable environment throughout the year.

The work is generally light in nature, involving shipping, receiving, inventory management, and forklift operation using a counterbalance truck, as well as the use of SAP, Fed

Ex, and UPS portals.
**Job Type & Location**
This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Burlington, ON.
**Pay and Benefits**
The pay range for this position is $25.00 - $25.00/hr.

Individual compensation offered for this position within this range will depend on many factors, including qualifications, skills, relevant experience, job knowledge, geographic location, internal equity, and other pertinent job-related factors.
