Adecco is currently hiring a Line Cook for a full-time opportunity in a fast-paced caf and food service environment in Saint John, NB .

This role is ideal for experienced culinary professionals who are passionate about food preparation, customer service, quality, and teamwork.

Pay Rate: Starting at $20/hour (depending on experience) Location: Saint John, NB Shift: Job type: Temporary1 month|Full-time Here''s why you should apply: Paid weekly accurate and on time Strong health and safety programs Medical and dental benefits once qualified Free training programs New and quicker onboarding process Responsibilities: Food Preparation & Production Prepare and cook a variety of hot and cold food items, including meats, vegetables, soups, salads, and other menu offerings.

Follow recipes and portion standards to ensure consistency and quality.

Maintain high standards of food presentation and quality.

Kitchen Operations Handle, store, rotate, and label food products according to food safety guidelines.

Assist with inventory control and stock management.

Maintain accurate records and support kitchen administration activities.

Customer Service & Team Collaboration Provide outstanding service and accommodate special food requests whenever possible.

Collaborate with the Caf Manager and team members on menu planning and special events.

Participate in team meetings and contribute ideas for continuous improvement.

Health & Safety Follow all food safety, sanitation, and workplace safety procedures.

Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work setting.





Ensure compliance with food handling regulations and company policies.

Qualifications and Skills: Postsecondary education in Culinary Arts, Hospitality, Tourism, or a related field, or equivalent experience.

Food Safety Certification required.

Minimum 3-5 years of progressive cooking experience, including strong line cook experience.

Experience preparing a wide variety of meals in a commercial kitchen environment.

Strong understanding of food preparation techniques and kitchen operations.

Experience with inventory control and kitchen administration is an asset.

Excellent time management and organizational skills.

Ability to prioritize tasks and work efficiently in a fast-paced environment.

Strong customer service mindset and positive attitude.

Ability to work independently and collaboratively as part of a team.

Flexibility to work morning, evening, and weekend shifts as required.

Ability to stand for extended periods and lift up to 20 lbs.
