Duties

- Lead and supervise store staff, fostering a positive team environment through effective training and development initiatives
- Manage daily store operations including cash handling, POS transactions, and customer service interactions to ensure smooth functioning
- Oversee merchandising efforts, ensuring product displays are attractive, organized, and aligned with marketing strategies
- Handle purchasing decisions and inventory management to maintain optimal stock levels and reduce shrinkage
- Implement pricing strategies and promotional campaigns to maximize sales opportunities
- Conduct recruiting efforts, interview candidates, and onboard current team members to build a strong workforce
- Monitor sales performance, prepare budgets, and analyze financial reports to meet or exceed store targets

Skills

- Proven experience in retail management with supervising responsibilities and team leadership skills

- Excellent communication skills for staff training, customer interactions, and marketing initiatives
- Proficiency in merchandising, pricing strategies, and sales management techniques
- Sound organizational skills with time management capabilities to prioritize tasks efficiently
- Knowledge of payroll processing, budgeting, and administrative procedures
- Demonstrated ability in recruiting, interviewing, and developing talent within a retail environment
- Customer service orientation with phone etiquette skills and the ability to handle difficult situations professionally
