Job Summary

We are seeking an energetic, friendly, and reliable Retail Sales Associate / Cashier to join our team at Buck or Two Plus Peterborough! In this role, you will be the face of our store, providing exceptional customer service, managing point-of-sale transactions, and keeping our shelves beautifully stocked and organized.

Key Responsibilities

- Customer Service: Greet customers warmly, assist them in finding items, and answer questions about our products, seasonal items, and promotions.
- Cashier Operations: Process transactions accurately and efficiently using our POS cash register system, handling cash, debit, and credit payments.
- Merchandising & Stocking: Receive product shipments, unpack inventory, price merchandise, and stock shelves according to brand standards.
- Store Maintenance: Maintain a clean, organized, and safe shopping workplace by front-facing products,



dusting displays, and cleaning floors.
- Specialty Services: Assist with creating balloon arrangements and taking orders for parties or holidays.
- Problem Solving: Address minor customer complaints or inquiries with patience and professionalism, escalating to management when necessary.

Qualifications & Skills

- Age Requirement: Must be 16 years of age or older.
- Experience: Previous retail, customer service, or cashier experience is preferred but not required—we will train the right candidate.
- Skills: Basic mathematical skills for counting change and balancing registers.
- Physical Ability: Comfortable standing for extended periods and lifting/moving stock boxes up to 40–50 lbs.
- Communication: Strong verbal communication skills in English. A friendly, customer-first attitude with an approachable personality.
- Flexibility: Availability to work a flexible schedule, including days, evenings, weekends and holidays.
