Sales Associate – Mean Machine Customs

Mean Machine Customs is looking for an energetic and customer-focused Sales Associate to join our team. We specialize in automotive customization, protection, and styling services, including window tint, paint protection film (PPF), vinyl wraps, and other vehicle customization services.

As a Sales Associate, you will be the first point of contact for many of our customers. You will help customers understand our products and services, recommend the right options for their vehicle, prepare quotes, schedule appointments, and follow up with customers. A good understanding of automotive window tint, PPF, vinyl wraps, and vehicle customization is important for this position.

Responsibilities

- Greet customers and provide professional, friendly customer service.
- Understand customer needs and recommend appropriate window tint, PPF, vinyl wrap, and automotive customization services.
- Explain different tint, PPF, and vinyl wrap options, including their features, benefits, applications, and pricing.
- Have a basic understanding of different vehicle types, makes, models, and vehicle sizes.
- Understand the basic differences between window tint, paint protection film, and vinyl wraps and when each product is appropriate.
- Prepare accurate quotes and estimates based on the customer's vehicle and requested services.
- Answer customer inquiries in person, over the phone, by email, and through social media or other digital platforms.
- Schedule customer appointments and coordinate with the installation team.
- Follow up with leads, quotes, and previous customers to generate additional business.
- Recommend additional services when appropriate and identify opportunities to upsell.




- Process payments, deposits, and POS transactions accurately.
- Maintain accurate customer and vehicle information.
- Work closely with the installation team to ensure customer expectations, product selections, and job details are clearly communicated.
- Help maintain a professional and organized showroom and customer area.
- Stay up to date with Mean Machine Customs products, services, pricing, promotions, and new automotive customization trends.

Qualifications & Skills
- Knowledge or experience with automotive window tint, PPF, vinyl wraps, detailing, vehicle customization, or the automotive industry is strongly preferred.
- Genuine interest in cars and automotive customization.
- Basic knowledge of window tint, PPF, vinyl wraps, and their applications.
- Ability to learn and confidently explain different automotive products and services to customers.
- Comfortable discussing pricing and recommending products and services.
- Strong communication and customer service skills.
- Skilled phone, email, and digital communication etiquette.
- Sales experience is an asset, particularly in the automotive or service industry.
- Ability to work independently while also working effectively with the installation team.
- Strong organizational and time-management skills.
- Basic computer skills and ability to use POS, scheduling,



quoting, and customer-management systems.
- Basic math skills for quotes, payments, deposits, and sales calculations.
- Ability to handle multiple customers and tasks in a busy shop environment.
- Bilingual or multilingual abilities are an asset.

What We're Looking For We're looking for someone who is comfortable around cars, understands or is willing to learn automotive customization, and enjoys working with customers.

The ideal candidate should have a genuine interest in window tint, PPF, vinyl wraps, and vehicle customization. You don't need to be an installer, but you should be able to learn our products and services and confidently explain them to customers.

You should be professional, motivated, friendly, organized, and comfortable building long-term customer relationships. The ability to understand what a customer wants and translate that into the right product or service is an important part of this position.
