Maxime Zeaberg is a line of winter accessories: hats, toques, gloves etc. We are seeking a non-smoker Sales Manager preferably non-student and over 25 years old, for our boutique located at the Distillery District. The boutique is a 10x8 feet container.

We are looking for an outgoing and very chatty personality that loves making new friends while doing sales. Please note this is a base wage + commission based job--you will operate independently and run the store by yourself. You will be required to pull out 5 clothing racks, every morning and put them back inside the store every evening and lock the store.

The store is in the open. So you need to wear proper winter gear and be prepared to work in the cold.

Part time hours: 3 days a week: 11 am to 10 pm are available.

Please don't apply if you are an introvert personality who wants to sit and browse the phone while at the store--actively greeting and approaching customers as they enter and attempting to strike a conversation with them is a mandatory requirement for the job. You must also be pet friendly. This is a casual job where you are required to play music, chat, make friends, have fun while doing sales at the same time. Customer engagement is essential. Prior sales experience is necessary.

Other secondary job requirements





You will be required to handover cash sales to store owner whenever you see him next or interac the amount to the store email address. You can't leave cash at the store overnight.

You will required to provide daily sales and inventory reports when closing.

You will be required to keep the store clean and retail display visually appealing.

You will be required to receive and unbox weekly or bi-weekly deliveries of merchandise and steam iron and hang to display.

GROUNDS FOR TERMINATION

PLEASE NOTE YOU MUST BE A NON-SMOKER AND THERE ARE NO LUNCH BREAKS. YOU BRING YOUR FOOD WITH YOU, HEAT IT AT THE IN-STORE MICROWAVE AND EAT IT AT THE JOB WHEN ITS NOT BUSY. YOU MUST ATTEND TO A CUSTOMER EVEN IF YOU ARE IN THE MIDDLE OF YOUR MEAL AND RESUME EATING WHEN THE CLIENT HAS LEFT.

YOU CAN'T ABANDON THE STORE TO TAKE A LUNCH OR COFFEE BREAK OR TO BUY LUNCH. THIS WOULD BE GROUNDS FOR TERMINATION. YOU ASK YOUR NEIGHBOUR TO WATCH WHEN YOU MAKE A QUICK TRIP TO THE WASHROOM BUT MUST BE PRESENT AT THE STORE DURING THE 6 OR 8 HOUR SHIFT.

YOU CAN'T BE BUSY CHATTING ON YOUR PHONE OR TO A NEIGHBOURING STORE EMPLOYEE OR BUSY PETTING AN ANIMAL WHILE THERE ARE CUSTOMERS IN THE STORE BEING UNATTENDED TO. YOU ARE BEING PAID TO CHAT AND GREET THEM, PITCH A DRESS, PULL OUT THE REQUIRED SIZE, ASSIST THEM WHILE THEY TRY IT ON, AND COMPLETE THE SALE.
