Role Description The Senior Accountant is a full time role based in Scottsdale, AZ, with a hybrid work arrangement that allows for partial work from home. This position is responsible for managing general ledger activities, preparing and reviewing journal entries, and performing monthly, quarterly, and annual account reconciliations.

The Senior

Accountant will support the month-end and year-end close processes, assist with financial statement preparation, and ensure compliance with relevant accounting standards and internal policies. Day-to-day responsibilities include analyzing financial data, supporting budgeting and forecasting,



collaborating with cross-functional teams on financial reporting, and assisting with audits and internal controls documentation. The role also involves identifying process improvements, maintaining accurate records, and delivering timely, reliable financial information to leadership.

Qualifications

- Strong technical accounting skills, including proficiency with general ledger accounting, account reconciliations, and financial statement preparation.
- Experience with budgeting, forecasting, variance analysis, and financial data interpretation to support business decision-making.
- Proficiency with accounting and ERP software (e.g., SAP, Oracle, NetSuite, or similar), and strong skills in Microsoft Excel and other reporting tools.
- Knowledge of GAAP and internal control frameworks, with experience supporting audits and compliance activities.
- Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and organizational skills, with the ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines.
- Effective written and verbal communication skills, with a collaborative approach to working across finance and non-finance teams.
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field; CPA or progress toward certification is preferred.
- Several years of relevant accounting experience, ideally in technology, financial services, or payments industry environments.
