Senior Accountant – Public Accounting

Job Type: Full-time, Permanent

Annual Compensation: $78,000–$95,000 per year

Schedule: Monday to Friday, 8:30 a.m.–5:00 p.m.

Location: Toronto, Ontario – In Person The Role

We are looking for a Senior Accountant to join our team. The role is a blend of the following:

- Compilation engagements
- Audit and review engagement work (condominiums, etc.)
- Corporate income tax returns (T2)
- Contributions to personal income tax returns (T1), seasonally
- Project management: Taking a file from start to finished
- Showing leadership and mentor junior and intermediate accountants
- Interfacing with clients

Qualifications The successful candidate will have:

- Minimum 4 years of experience in public accounting
- Strong experience preparing compilation engagements
- Experience preparing T1 and T2 tax returns
- Working knowledge of Caseware Working Papers
- Working knowledge of Taxprep or Profile
- Experience with QuickBooks Online and/or QuickBooks Desktop
- Solid Microsoft Excel and Word skills





Compensation

- Salary of $78,000–$95,000, based on experience
