Role Description The Senior Financial Controller is a full-time, in office role located in the London, Canada Metropolitan Area. This role oversees all core accounting functions, including general ledger management, month-end and year-end closing, and preparation of accurate and timely financial statements.

The Senior Financial

Controller manages financial reporting for internal and external stakeholders, ensuring compliance with relevant accounting standards and regulatory requirements. Day-to-day responsibilities include budgeting, forecasting, variance analysis, and supporting strategic planning through data-driven financial insights. The role also involves implementing and enhancing internal controls, supervising accounting staff, collaborating with operations and management teams on cost analysis and efficiency initiatives,



and contributing to continuous improvement of financial processes and systems.

Qualifications

- Candidates should possess strong finance and accounting skills, including Finance, Accounting, and Financial Statements.
- Candidates should possess robust Financial Reporting capabilities, including preparing, analyzing, and presenting financial information to stakeholders.
- Candidates should possess advanced Analytical Skills, with the ability to interpret complex data, perform variance analysis, and support strategic decision-making.
- Relevant academic background, such as a bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, or a related field; a professional designation (e.g., CPA, CA, CMA) is highly beneficial.
- Significant experience in a senior controllership or similar leadership role, ideally within service based multi-site operations.
- Demonstrated proficiency with ERP systems and financial tools, strong Excel skills, and familiarity with internal control frameworks.
- Excellent communication, leadership, and stakeholder management skills, with the ability to collaborate cross-functionally and mentor team members.
