AutoShack is a Canadian aftermarket auto parts retailer and e-commerce company headquartered in Ottawa. We sell replacement auto parts through our online business, marketplaces and retail locations across Ontario.

We are looking for an experienced, hands-on developer to take ownership of system integrations, automation and practical AI projects.

This is not a remote or hybrid position. Applicants must currently live in Ottawa or within reasonable daily commuting distance.

Responsibilities

- Build and maintain Microsoft Azure integrations
- Support Pimberly PIM implementation and integrations
- Build NetSuite and other business-system integrations
- Develop REST APIs, webhooks and system connections
- Build automation using Zapier, Power Automate, Make.com and APIs
- Develop ChatGPT/OpenAI and other practical AI integrations
- Support e-commerce, marketplace, product and catalog integrations
- Work with SQL and business databases
- Troubleshoot, monitor and document integrations
- Perform other development, integration, automation, systems and IT-related duties as reasonably required

Required Qualifications

- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Computer Engineering, Information Technology or a closely related technical field
- Minimum 5 years of qualified software development experience
- Strong Microsoft Azure experience
- Strong API and system-integration experience
- Experience with C#, .NET, Python or similar backend development
- Strong SQL and database experience
- Experience with REST APIs, webhooks,



OAuth and API security
- Git/source-control experience
- Ability to independently take projects from requirements through implementation and support
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Excellent command of the English language

Assets Experience with any of the following is an advantage:

- Pimberly or another PIM platform
- NetSuite
- OpenAI / ChatGPT APIs or Azure OpenAI
- Zapier, Power Automate or Make.com
- Azure DevOps
- Amazon, eBay or Walmart APIs
- Salesforce Commerce Cloud
- ERP or high-volume e-commerce integrations

Mandatory Technical Assessment Completion of a TestGorilla technical assessment is required to be considered for this position.

The assessment will test

- Microsoft Azure
- REST APIs
- SQL
- Clean code
- Coding and debugging

Estimated completion time: approximately 75–80 minutes. Candidates who do not complete the assessment or do not meet the required technical level will not proceed.

Position Requirements

- Must currently live in Ottawa or the surrounding area
- Must work on-site Monday to Friday
- Must hold the required university degree
- Must be legally entitled to work in Canada

Pay: $110,000.00-$125,000.00 per year
