Senior UX Designer

Location: Toronto, Ontario, Canada

We are looking for a Senior UX Designer to join a complex digital project and collaborate closely with product owners, developers, business stakeholders, and other UX professionals. The ideal candidate will have strong experience in user-centred design, responsive/mobile-first design, user research, and Agile delivery.

Key Responsibilities

- Design user-focused digital solutions using UX design best practices.
- Create intuitive, mobile-first, and responsive user experiences.
- Iterate designs efficiently based on user feedback, research, and stakeholder input.
- Participate in complex projects using user-centred design and Agile/Scrum methodologies .
- Conduct and facilitate user research and usability testing .
- Develop user research deliverables such as interview scripts, topic maps, research synthesis, and findings reports.
- Collaborate with Product Owners, developers, business teams, and other stakeholders throughout the project lifecycle.
- Communicate design concepts, processes, and recommendations clearly to technical and non-technical stakeholders.
- Help identify and address stakeholder concerns and resistance to change.
- Contribute to design solutions throughout different stages of product delivery.

Required Skills & Experience




- 3+ years of relevant UX Design experience on complex projects/products.
- Strong understanding of user-centred design, UX best practices, mobile-first, and responsive design .
- Experience working in Agile/Scrum environments .
- Hands-on experience with user research and usability testing .
- Robust experience with UX/design tools such as:
- Figma
- InVision
- Sketch
- Axure
- Adobe Creative Cloud
- Zeplin
- JustInMind
- Strong communication, presentation, analytical, problem-solving, and interpersonal skills.
- Experience collaborating with cross-functional teams and stakeholders.

Nice to Have
- Accessibility compliance/testing experience.
- Knowledge of HTML5, CSS3, JavaScript .
- Exposure to React, Angular, or Node.js .
- Degree or diploma in Graphic Design.
- Certification or education in Usability, Human-Computer Interaction (HCI), or Technical Writing .
