WE’RE HIRING!

We are looking for a part-time server assistant to join our team at Reta’s! As summer winds down and the holiday season starts to approach we are looking for someone to support the front of house team. The ideal candidate has experience as a server assistant or server in a busy restaurant environment, however enthusiasm and a willingness to learn are what we are looking for most of all.

As a server assistant you will work closely with both front and back of house to ensure our food is delivered quickly and efficiently and high service standards are maintained at all times. We are a small team here at Reta's who take pride in what we do, and we are looking for someone who can work hard, provide exceptional service and have fun!

Duties

- Delivering food and beverages to tables and giving an accurate description of the dishes we are serving.
- Polishing plates and glassware to a high standard.
- Assisting the servers with topping up guests water, clearing plates and resetting tables.




- Maintaining cleanliness and hygiene standards in the pass.
- Offering friendly but high standard service to our guests.

Requirements

- Evening and weekend availability. Thursday, Friday and Sunday's absolutely necessary with the desire to pick up extra shifts where available.
- Valid serve right certificate.
- The ability to carry 3 plates confidently.
- The ability to carry a tray of glassware through the restaurant with ease.
- Hospitality mindset with a professional appearance and positive attitude.
- Strong customer service skills with the ability to communicate clearly and positively with guests and both front and back of house.
- Willingness to learn, a good work ethic and the ability to remain calm in a busy restaurant workplace.
