- A senior actuarial position that is concentrating on the pricing strategy and the profit aspect for the insurance products.
- Located in Montréal and working full-time (35 hours weekly).
- Participates in the pricing process from setting prices to tracking their financial performance.

Responsibilities
- Assist in creating the price plans for the auto, residential, and other insurance markets.
- Construct and use the models to give the best pricing and premium advice.
- Keep an eye on and report the effect on finance of the pricing decisions.
- Help with the risk-sharing approaches and the cross-segment profitability analysis.
- In the creation of documents and in the submission of the same, falling in all regulatory requirements, and also in compliance-related issues.
- Guide and provide necessary information to junior co-workers, whenever necessary.
Requirements
- University degree in Actuarial Science or a similar domain
- At least 5 years of relevant experience
Superb command of Excel
- Programming skills and interest especially in SQL and R
- Ability to cooperate with others effectively
- Self starter and tough; uses imagination and ingenuity in the job
- Preferred qualifications are Previous experience with predictive modeling and being a candidate for FCIA/FCAS certification
