Join Stonehenge Therapeutic Community as an Addiction Counsellor focused on therapeutic community principles and integrated treatment approaches. Full time and permanent, this role requires group facilitation and crisis intervention skills.

As an Addiction Counsellor, you will work directly with individuals undergoing treatment for complex addiction issues and concurrent disorders. Your tasks will include conducting group therapy sessions, developing treatment and risk assessment plans, and actively participating in community living activities. You will utilize various evidence-informed practices, including Cognitive Behavioral Therapy and Dialectical Behavioral Therapy, while coordinating clients' treatment effectively.

Key Responsibilities:



• Provide psycho-educational programming and support • Develop assessments and treatment plans with clients • Monitor and report on client progress • Lead group therapy sessions and community activities • Handle crises and urgent client situations

Requirements: • Relevant degree in mental health or social services • Registration with either CRPO or OCSWSSW mandatory • Minimum one year experience in addiction or mental health • Certified Addictions Counsellor an asset • Valid G Drivers License and clean driving record
