Reporting to the Service Supervisor, the Anishinaabe Foster Care Worker delivers an essential program reflecting the traditions and customs of the First Nation served by KGCFS. Preferred applicants will have a Bachelor of Social Work or a relevant diploma and at least two years of direct child welfare experience. You will utilize your knowledge of Anishinaabe culture to engage with families, supporting their journey toward healthier lifestyles.

• Ensure the effective delivery of the Foster Care Program • Blend social work practices with Anishinaabe methods • Actively participate in cultural and community events • Guide families towards improved wellbeing and support • Adhere to community and legislative standards

Requirements: • Bachelor's Degree in Social Work or equivalent • Two years of experience in child welfare • Knowledge of Anishinaabe traditions is essential • Willingness to engage with traditional practices • Obtain police clearance and maintain driver's insurance
