Join Village of Riverbank Terrace in Ottawa as an Assistant Director of Nursing Care, with a focus on Infection Prevention and Control (IPAC). This full time, on-site position provides leadership in long-term care environments.

As a permanent member of the team, you will engage in comprehensive care practices while guiding infection control measures. Candidates must possess RN or RPN registrations and relevant experience in IPAC practices. This role involves direct involvement in staff training, outbreak management, and ensuring compliance with health regulations.

Key Responsibilities:



• Oversee infection control practices within the facility • Conduct IPAC education sessions for the entire team • Keep updated on infection control guidelines and regulations • Collaborate with healthcare professionals on IPAC initiatives • Implement quality improvement strategies across care settings

Requirements: • Current registration with CNO as RN or RPN • CPR certification at Heart Save level • Proven experience in healthcare leadership • Commitment to obtaining LTC-CIP or CIC certification • At least three years of long-term care management
