KOKO Vision is a modern, independent optometry practice located in Toronto’s Harbourfront, steps from Union Station. We are looking for an Associate Optometrist to provide temporary coverage for approximately 2 months, with the possibility of an ongoing part-time arrangement.

We are ideally looking for Wednesday coverage from 11:00 am–7:00 pm, with the last patient booked at 6:00 pm. We are also open to arranging two half-days instead if that works better for the right OD. Occasional Saturday coverage may also be available.

Our practice offers comprehensive primary eye care in a comfortable, well-equipped setting. Pre-testing and retinal imaging are performed for the doctor, allowing the OD to focus primarily on patient care and clinical decision-making.

The practice is equipped with:

- Automated pre-testing, including autorefraction/keratometry
- Digital retinal imaging
- Fully equipped examination lane (digital photometer) and slit lamp
- Paperless EMR




- Experienced front-desk support

Our patient base includes routine comprehensive examinations, OHIP-covered care, contact lens patients, ocular health assessments and urgent eye-care visits. Appointments are scheduled to allow for thorough, patient-focused care rather than a high-volume environment.

Compensation is percentage-based on professional fees collected, with estimated daily earnings of approximately $300–$700 depending on patient volume and services provided. There is no responsibility for optical sales or dispensing.

We are looking for an Ontario-licensed optometrist who is professional, personable and comfortable practising independently. Current graduates are welcome.

Pay: $300.00-$700.00 per day
